EV Charger Installation · Kitchener-Waterloo
Home EV Charger Installation, Done Right.
Level 2 charger installs for homes and businesses across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph — with the load calculation, ESA permit and inspection handled for you.

Charge at home overnight — safely
A Level 2 charger adds range several times faster than plugging into a regular household outlet, so your car is full every morning. Getting there safely depends on what's behind the wall: your panel's capacity, the circuit size, the wire run and the right protection.
Before we quote, we look at your panel and your home's existing load so you know up front whether your current service can handle a charger as-is, needs a load-management device, or needs an upgrade. No guessing, no surprise change orders.

Common questions
Do I need a permit to install an EV charger in Ontario?
Yes. An EV charger circuit is electrical work that requires an ESA notification and inspection. We file it and arrange the inspection as part of every job.
Can my existing panel handle an EV charger?
Often it can. We do a load calculation on your home first. If capacity is tight, an EV energy management system (EVEMS) can share power safely and avoid a full service upgrade. If an upgrade is genuinely needed, we tell you before you commit.
Should I get a hard-wired charger or a plug-in (14-50) receptacle?
Hard-wired units can usually deliver more power and suit outdoor installs; a 14-50 receptacle lets you swap chargers later. We will recommend the right option for your car, charger and location.
Do you install chargers for condos, rentals and businesses?
Yes — we install commercial and multi-unit EV charging as well. Call us to talk through the site.
